Sheryl Carson, age 66, died Sunday, May 29, 2022 at her home in Raritan Township NJ.

Born July 30, 1955 in Tacoma, Washington, Sheryl was the daughter of Patricia (Sebern) Dickson and the late Merald Dean Keys. Her family moved frequently during her childhood; places like Anchorage Alaska, Pocatello Idaho, Potsdam New York, to name a few. Later she moved to New Jersey and lived in Kendall Park, Readington Township and eventually, Flemington NJ, where she lived for many years. Growing up she had many happy memories with her siblings and her special friends, Terri Byrne and Nancy Leonard Williams.

Sheryl attended Rutgers University and worked for many years as a bookkeeper for The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P). Eventually she retired as the Office Manager of MSC Express, Inc. in Somerville NJ.

She had a talent for holiday decorating, interior design, crafting, gifting, collecting Precious Moments Figurines, gardening, or vacationing in Wildwood NJ. She found much joy in a simple ride through the countryside or taking in a concert. Sheryl was a loving, generous, giving, and creative person who had an immense love for her husband, children and grandchildren and will be missed by those that knew her best.

Sheryl was predeceased by her father, Merald Dean Keys and her sister, Karen Glaser. She is survived by her husband, John M. Carson, her mother, Patricia Dickson of Yucaipa CA, her four sons and one daughter, Bryan William Witkowski of Coatesville PA, Jeffrey Jonathan Witkowski and his wife, Carrie Ann of Coopersburg PA, Lisa Marie Venghaus, and her husband, Brad Eric of Austin TX, Matthew Ryan Witkowski, and his fiancé, Heather Nicholle Tozzi of Somerset NJ, and John Dominick Carson of Englishtown NJ, as well as her three grandchildren, Cora Ann Venghaus, Nicholas James Venghaus, and Hailey Ava Witkowski and her brother, David Keys, and his wife, Kelly of Portland OR, and her sister, Alison Reinstedt, and her husband, Lee Reinstedt of California.

Calling hours for Sheryl will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the funeral home, followed by interment at Locust Grove Cemetery in Quakertown NJ.
