Sophie Fenton

Sophie Fenton, age 90 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Sunday, October 14, 2007 in the Rolling Hills Care Center, Clinton Township, NJ, where she had resided the past two years.

Born in New York City, NY, May 19, 1917, daughter of the late Frank and Vera Maximov, she had lived in Flemington since 1967, previously living in Ringoes, NJ.

A homemaker, she was a member of the Flemington Presbyterian Church, Flemington, NJ.

Her husband, Frank Fenton, died in 1964.

Surviving are a sister-in-law, Dale Davis Maximov of Irmo, SC; two nieces, Lorraine Cordaro of Del Ray Beach, FL and Julie Maximov of West Columbia, SC; and two nephews, Ronald Maximov of Flemington, NJ and Alexander Maximov of Irmo, SC.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in Highland Cemetery, Hopewell, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
