Sophie Fritz

Sophie Fritz, age 97 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, January 26, 2005, in the Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Germany, March 24, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Friederich and Catharina Kranz Dreyer. She had formerly resided in Union, NJ.

A retired governess, her husband, Karl Fritz, died in 1968. Surviving are four nieces; Mildred Andrews, of Georgetown, TX, Elizabeth Bantell and Inge Bantell, both of Milford, NJ, and Janice Dreyer of Chester, NJ; and two nephews, Charles Evans of Clinton, NJ, and Frank Hotz of Moneta, VA.

Memorial Services will be held at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 201 Route 31, Flemington, NJ, on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 11 AM under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.
