Stacy Barszcz, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on January 25, 2025, at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ. Born on April 5, 1955, in Krakow, Poland, Stacy carried her warm and loving spirit throughout her life, touching the hearts of all who knew her.
Stacy had a fulfilling career, initially working at Grand Union Supermarket in Flemington and later serving as the Deli Manager for ShopRite of Flemington until her retirement. Her dedication to her work was evident, and she formed many cherished connections with colleagues and customers alike.
A woman of notable warmth and compassion, Stacy was the primary caregiver for her husband, Stanley Barszcz. Her nurturing nature extended far beyond her immediate family, as she was renowned for her love of all animals, particularly dogs. An ardent lover of the outdoors, she found joy in tending to her bountiful and colorful flower and vegetable garden, which reflected her vibrant personality.
Stacy's family will forever hold dear the memories they created together, including the cherished tradition of cooking favorite family meals. She also enjoyed spending time at the beach with her family, where laughter and joy filled the air. Additionally, she devoted precious moments to playing card games, especially 'Rummy' and 'Hearts', always seeking to bask in the sun while enjoying her surroundings. Her grandson, Evan Barszcz, was a source of immense joy for her, and she treasured every opportunity to spend time with him.
A woman of great faith, Stacy was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Three Bridges, where she prayed often for those she loved so dearly.
Stacy is survived by her husband, Stanley Barszcz; her sons, Chris Barszcz and his wife Renata of Fairlawn, NJ, and Mike Barszcz and his wife Nikki of Raritan, NJ; her grandson, Evan Barszcz; and her sister, Jadwiga Piekarski of Poland. She is preceded in death by her brother, Walter Piekarski, and her sister, Mary Starowicz.
