Stanley H. Zdepski, age 87 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Thursday, October 9, 2014, in Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Stockton, NJ, December 9, 1926, son of the late Harry and Ava Gula Zdepski, he had resided in Hunterdon County most of his life.
He was formerly a forklift operator for Eaton/Yale Corp., Raritan Township, NJ, and later was employed in the Maintenance Dept. of Liberty Village, Flemington, NJ.
Stanley was a veteran of World War 2, serving in the US Army.
His wife, Amelia Hewitt Zdepski, died in 2005.
Surviving are a daughter, Darlene Ubry of Lambertville, NJ; two grandsons, Scott Konya of Alpha, NJ, and Bryan Konya of Seattle, WA.; two great grandchildren, McKenna Lynn Konya and Kyle Konya of Alpha, NJ; a brother, Walter Zdepski of Stockton, NJ; and two sisters, Ann Zdepski of Baptistown, NJ and Helen Fackelman of Stockton, NJ.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 13, 2014, at 2:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment with military honors will be in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
