Stanley "Jack" Antiskay

June 18, 1932 — April 14, 2020

Stanley J. “Jack” Antiskay, age 87, died Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Rolling Hills Care Center in Clinton Township NJ. He lived in Hunterdon County NJ nearly all of his life.

Born a preemie on June 18, 1932 in Trenton NJ, Jack was the son of the late Michael and Karoline (Laminski) Antiskay.

Jack met the love of his life, the late Dolores Majewski at a dance in Bethlehem PA, and the two were married for 62 years before her death in 2016. His Catholic faith was very important to Jack, and he was a long-time member of Our Lady of Victories Church in Baptistown NJ.

Despite not finishing high school so he could help on the family farm, Jack was an extremely smart and hard worker and learned to fix anything mechanical. Jack loved to be outdoors, in Hunterdon County were he went hunting for duck, small game and deer and he often took fishing trips to Canada, which were some of his favorite things to do. He was a practical joker, and kept his family and friends laughing and on their toes at all times.

Jack is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Stanley Jr. and Anne Antiskay of Phildelphia PA, his daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Steve Riggins of Peoria AZ, his son, Michael Antiskay of Chesapeake VA, his son, Joseph Antiskay of Zuni VA, and his daughter, Catherine Antiskay of Frenchtown NJ. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren, Elizabeth, Stephen, Brian, Christina, Amanda, Jessica, John, Matthew, Anthony, Nicholas, and Rachel, as well as his two great-grandchildren, Selena and Javier.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial is being planned at a later date at Our Lady of Victories Church in Baptistown NJ. Please check back with this webpage for further information, dates and time.

Jack will be buried privately at St. Magdalen Cemetery in Flemington NJ under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jack’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
