Stella Garbus

Stella Garbus, age 89 years,of Raritan Township, NJ died on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, June 24, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Katie Chranzek Garbus. She had formerly resided in Linden, NJ.

She was a secretary for General Motors at thier Linden, NJ plant for thirty-two years, retiring in 1974.

She is survived by two brothers: Walter Garbus, of Hubbard, OH, and Edward Garbus, of Fanwood, NJ; and a sister, Helen Susalis, of Readington Township, NJ.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at Noon at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 11 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information.
