Stella Kania

Stella Kania, age 93 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Newark, NJ, May 8, 1914, daughter of the late Peter and Tekla Delikat, she had resided in the Flemington area most of her life.

She had formerly operated the Country General Store, Raritan Township, NJ.

Her first husband, Warren V. Greene, died in l968 and her second husband, Thaddeus Kania, Sr., died in 2005. A son, Warren V. Greene, Jr., died in 1996.

Surviving are a son, Joseph W. Greene of Three Bridges, NJ; two sisters, Helen Hudson of Union, NJ and Victoria Toth of California; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
