Stella M. Deppe-Heissler

Stella M. Deppe-Heissler, age 49 years, beloved wife and mother, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at her residence in Union Township, Hunterdon County, NJ.

Stella was born on August 14th, 1957 to Willard and Lois Wynne (Anderson). She attended Martin High School, graduating in 1975. Stella was employed at Pfizer, starting with The Upjohn Company in Kalamazoo, MI, working in various capacities for nearly 20 years.

Stella was united in marriage to Joseph F. Heissler, Jr., formerly of Normal, IL on August 2nd, 2002.

Stella is survived by her loving husband, Joe. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her Mother, Lois Wynne; a daughter, Karlee (Andrew) Lusso; a son, Trevor Deppe; two step-daughters, Jaime and Lauren Heissler; step-son Jason (Carrie) Heissler; and three step grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle and Erin.

Also surviving Stella are her two sisters, Ann (Earl) Adamson, nephews: Michael, Daniel, Clay and niece, Jessica and Judy (David) Carson, nieces: Katie and Cari Carson; and two brothers, Steven and Robin (Deb) Wynne, nieces: Sarah, Leslie, Kirsten, Kyra Wynne and Jarae Hampton and nephew: Eric Wynne. Stella is also survived by the father of her children, Bruce Deppe. Stella was looking forward to the birth of her daughter Karlee's first child, due in March.

A member of St. Catherine of Sienna Church, Pittstown, NJ, Stella was very artistic and was always painting, designing special gifts for her family or decorating and gardening at her home in Pittstown. She was an avid reader, often sending little care packages of books she especially enjoyed. Stella enjoyed a special bond with her family and her infectiously vibrant smile and boundless energy, love and compassion will be greatly missed.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2006 from 7-9 p.m. at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Additional calling hours will be held Friday, September 8, 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Langeland Family Funeral Home, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue, Portage, MI (269) 343-1508. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the Langeland Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Kalamazoo, MI.
