Stella Riegel

Stella Riegel, age 84 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at her home.

Born in Whitehouse Station, NJ, July 15, 1927, daughter of the late Peter and Sarah Slizewski, she had lived in Delaware Township since 1960.

A longtime member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, Delaware Township, NJ, she was formerly a machine operator at Lipton Tea Company, Raritan Township, NJ for twenty years.

A son, David Riegel, died in 1970.

Surviving are her husband of sixty-one years, George Riegel; two daughters, Eunice Riegel of Hellertown, PA and Susanne Stiller of Slatington, PA; two sons, James Riegel of Mertztown, PA and Michael Riegel of Kingwood Township, NJ; a brother, Henry Slizewski of Lenore, NC; a sister, Carol Smith of Fredericksburg, VA; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will take place Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ. Calling hours will be Sunday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
