Stephen D. Tine

Stephen D. Tine, age 66 years, of Delaware Township, NJ passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Raritan Township, NJ, August 13, 1957, he was the son of John “Jack” and Yvonne (Skillman) Tine. A 1975 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School; he had lived in Hunterdon County, NJ almost all his life.

Steve was formerly employed for over forty-five years as the purchasing manager for Picut Manufacturing Company, Warren, NJ.

In his spare time, he enjoyed golf and fishing. Additionally, he was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, and was well known for his cooking and grilling abilities. Some family favorites of his were the scallop scampi, ribs, pork belly, and his chicken wings.

Steve will be remembered for his “big personality” as well as his great sense of humor and great smile.

He was predeceased by his son-in-law, the late Joshua J. Petrucelli, who died in 2021.

Above all, Steve cherished spending time with friends and family. Surviving are his wife, Debra Newman Tine; his children and step-children, Josh Tine (Chelcea), Stephen Tine (Jillian), Melissa Melbourn (Matt), Emily Beach (Rob), Kasey Petrucelli, and Danielle Kempfe (Michael); twelve grandchildren: Jayden, Chloe, Vallen, Dylan, Amelia, Nathan, Eliza, Caylee, Liam, Paisley, Jordan, and Ryker; his brother, James Tine (Margie), sister, Sharon Louthan, and his step-brother, Chuck Porter; his beloved canine companion, Finley; as well as many extended family and friends.

Memorial contributions in Steve’s memory may be made to a local animal charity of one’s choice.

There are no public services. Cremation services and arrangements are private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
