Deceased Name: Stephen Popick -- retired builder in N.J.
Stephen Popick, 81, of Ringoes, East Amwell Township, died Tuesday, July 28, in his home.
He was a retired builder and was also formerly employed at Princeton Development Center in Skillman.
Born Sept. 29, 1916, in New York City, he was a son of the late Procoppi and Stella Popick. He lived in Kingwood Township for many years and in Ringoes for 30 years.
He was a communicant of St. Magdalen Catholic Church in Flemington.
He is survived by his wife, the former Frances Sliwa; two daughters, Stephanie Henkel of Groton, N.Y., and Janice Jason of Ringoes; a son, Robert of Vergennes, Vt.; two sisters, Lillian Morolli and Stella Kinley, both of Kingwood Township; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A son, Stanley, died in 1981.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Magdalen Catholic Church, Mine Street, Flemington. Call 7 to 9 tonight in Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington. Burial will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery in Flemington.
