Stephen Thomas Rizzo

Stephen Thomas Rizzo, age 70 years, of Franklin Township, Warren County,NJ died on Sunday, March 8, 2009, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, July 13, 1938, he was the son of the late Thomas and Josephine Trentecosta Rizzo. He had formerly resided in Bridgewater, NJ

He was a self-employed business owner in the fuel oil trucking industry in Somerset and Union County, NJ.

He was a veteran of the New Jersey National Guard.

He loved going to the horse track, was a lifelong NY Yankees and NY Giants fan, and loved to be with his grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman and boater.

Suriving are his wife of forty-three years, Cheryl Collins Rizzo; a daughter, Kymberly Ryback and her husband Gregory of Bloomsbury, NJ; two sons, Christopher Rizzo and his fiance Jessica of Raritan, NJ, and Thomas Rizzo and his wife Lea of Milford, NJ; and three grandchildren: Gregory Ryback, Jr., Savannah Rizzo, and McKayla Rizzo.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Greenwich Cemetery, Greenwich Township, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6-9 PM in the funeral home.
