Steven Anthony Robertson

Steven Anthony Robertson, age 55 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Saturday, November 1 2008 at his residence.

Born in Newport News, VA, February 28, 1953, he had resided in Raritan Township for the past two years, having previously lived in Dallas, TX for ten years and Stamford, CT prior to that.

Mr. Robertson was a retired Electrical Engineer for Sikorsky Aircraft, Stratford, CT, where he had worked from 1987-1998. Prior to that, he was a Sergeant in the United States Army, serving from 1974-1987 and stationed in such places as Panama, California and Colorado.

While working for Sikorsky Aircraft, Mr. Robertson participated in the “Loaned Executive Program” for the United Way, whereby he spent a year working as an Executive for the United Way in Connecticut. He was also a member of the Auxiliary Police Force in Highland Village, TX and a distinguished volunteer for the Special Olympics in Connecticut.

He was pre-deceased by his mother, Alice Diggs Robertson.

Surviving are his wife of seventeen years, Sandra Goodwyn Robertson; a daughter and son, Sable Atherton Robertson and Galen Michael Robertson, both of Dallas, TX; three brothers, Dale Robertson of Bridgeport, CT; Kenneth Robertson of Stamford, CT and Gregory Robertson of Ypsilanti, MI; several aunts, uncles, nieces and a nephew.
