Stuart Joseph Hutcheson

Stuart Joseph Hutcheson, age 63 years, of Pittstown, NJ, passed peacefully at his home, Tuesday, August 21, 2018.

Born in Paterson, NJ, January 5, 1955, to Ralph and Nancy Hutcheson, he grew up in Oakland, NJ. He graduated from Indian Hills High School and Ramapo College.

Stuart retired in 2005 from American Express Business Finance as a vice president. After retirement, he volunteered and became president of Quakertown Volunteer EMS. He also served on the Alexandria Township Committee. He enjoyed serving his community, spending time reading, gardening, and with his family.

Predeceased by his father, he is survived by his mother, Nancy Grassey Hutcheson, of Pittstown, NJ; his sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Brad Scussell, of Pittstown, NJ; his sister, Eleanor Hutcheson, of Pittstown, NJ; his brother and sister-in-law, John and Denise Hutcheson, of Richmond, VA; and his nephew and nieces, Patrick Hutcheson, of Richmond, VA, Sara Hutcheson of Richmond, VA, and Rebecca Beets of Pittstown, NJ.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 3 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held from 1 PM until time of service in the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
