Susan C. Rowe

Susan C. Rowe, age 95, passed away on January 1, 2016 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township, NJ. Susan was born in Brooklyn in 1920. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Grace Crane. A graduate of The College of William and Mary, Susan resided in Westfield for over 43 years before moving to Hunterdon County. Susan was an active member of the First Congregational Church in Westfield where she was a Sunday school teacher for 25 years. She was an accomplished portrait artist, an animal lover and donated much of her time to volunteer and community services. Susan, the wife of the late Frederick Leslie Rowe, is survived by a sister, Grace Schworer of Raritan Township, a brother, Alfred Crane of Clinton Connecticut, a son, Donald Rowe of Annandale and a daughter, Barbara D’Amico of Las Vegas, Nevada. Susan has three grandchildren. Memorial donations can be made to the First Congregational Church of Westfield, NJ.
