Susan Elizabeth Gdovin

Susan Elizabeth Gdovin, age 101, died Friday, October 4, 2013 at Independence Manor, Raritan Township, surrounded by family.

Born in Ashley PA, she has lived for many years in the Flemington area, after retiring from Rheingold Brewing Company in East Orange NJ, where she worked as a Credit Clerk.

Predeceased by her parents, John and Susan Pavuk Gdovin, she was also predeceased by her ten siblings, John, Andrew, George, Michael, Joseph, and Thomas Gdovin, Mary Svetz, Anna Barnick, Martha Breznay, and Catherine Raymonds.

She is survived by her nieces, Martha Mirmak, Marianne Shulo, her nephews, Robert Breznay, Bernard Barnick, Thomas Barnick and John Raymonds, as well as several grand nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ., under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will follow in St. Magdalen Mausoleum, North Main Street, Flemington NJ. Calling hours will be Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
