Susan Joy Fick

Susan Joy Fick, age 58 years, of Steelton, PA, died Friday, May 14, 2021, in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Born October 3, 1962, in Kittanning PA, Susan was the daughter of Lamar Edward Sledge and Florence Smith Sledge. She lived in the Harrisburg PA area for many years. Susan had a passion for photography and a keen eye for taking some truly wonderful pictures, especially of the beach, where she drew inspiration to compose some of her best work. She often found pleasure in reading and writing in her spare time. Most of all, Susan treasured spending time with her grandchildren whenever she was able to be with them. In addition to her parents, Susan is survived by her sisters Crystal Martin, Linda Ann, Tammy Lynn Wilson, her brother, Timothy Straub, her four sons, Christopher Gaskill, Thomas Gaskill, Kevin Gaskill, and Anthony Gaskill, as well as her eight grandchildren.
