Susan L. Bishop

Susan L. Bishop, age 65 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at her home.

Born in Flemington, NJ, April 19, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Frank Michael Stellmah, Sr. and Laila Smuul.

Susan worked as a secretary in the Emergency Services Behavioral Health Department at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

An avid member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, she would often volunteer at the vacation bible school and for other church events. Susan was also a volunteer at the Hunterdon Medical Center in the behavioral health department.

Susan had a love for animals that she shared with her husband and family.

She was predeceased by her brother Frank Michael Stellmah in 2013. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband of forty-five years, Danny Bishop; one daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Robert Hanson of Milford, NJ; one son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Nicole Bishop of Flemington, NJ; two sister-in-law’s Brenda Fischer of Kingwood, NJ and Debra Bellington of Louisiana; two grandchildren, David and Kathryn Hanson of Milford, NJ and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 201 NJ-31, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 27, 2019 from 9:00-11:00 AM in the Church.
