Susan N. Dilauro

Susan N. DiLauro, age 53, died Monday, October 2, 2017 in Easton PA, she was a Hunterdon County NJ resident all of her life. Born April 20, 1964 in Flemington NJ, Susan was the daughter of the late Walter Unorski and Nancy (Huff) Unorski. She was a graduate of North Hunterdon Regional High School in the Class of 1982. Susan worked at various retail establishments in Hunterdon County, but was a caregiver to many friends and family for many years. She was a fan of music, especially the ‘Grateful Dead,’ and could be found many days working on her family’s farm in Pittstown where she grew up. Susan loved “anything living,” whether it was the natural world of plants and animals, the world around her or the people in her life, especially her love for her family. She will be missed by all those who knew her. In addition to her father, Walter Unorski in 2016, Susan was predeceased by her grandparents, Ike and Irene Huff and Emil and Joanne Unorski. She is survived by her husband, Cornelius (“Mike) DiLauro of Pittstown NJ, her mother, Nancy Huff Unorski of Pittstown NJ, her brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Erika Unorski of Freeport, Long Island, her two beloved nephews, Joshua Unorski of Rhode Island, and Matthew Unorski of Sparta NJ, her uncles and aunts, John and Tina Huff of Pittstown NJ, Peter and Dorothy Huff of Clarksville TN, Ira and Helen Huff of Valparaiso IN, and John and Darlene Unorski of Easton PA, as well as several cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at St. Catherine of Siena Parish Center, 142 Perryville Road, Hampton, NJ 08827. Interment of cremated remains will be private. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ.
