Teresa Vilaragut

Teresa Vilaragut of Flemington NJ, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother died peacefully, Friday, January 28, 2022 at the age of 89.

Teresa was born on May 29, 1932 in Cruces, Cuba, daughter of the late Pastor and Caridad (Gonzalez) Sotolongo. She came to America in 1962 with her husband and young children. She was married to the late Juan Vilaragut for 75 years and together they launched several successful businesses.

She was known for her generosity, kindness and playful personality.

Teresa is survived by her three daughters, Terry, Pia and Lizette, seven grandchildren, Jon Dean, Amanda, James, Justin, Taylor, Derek and Elizabeth, and two great-grandchildren, Luka and Isabella.

A memorial service officiated by the Rev. Thomas J. Serafin will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, February, 5, 2022 at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington. Calling hour will be on Saturday from 12:30 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
