Thelma Bernice Hennig, age 96 years, died on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 in the Country Arch Care Center, Union Township, Hunterdon County, NJ.

Born in Chicago, IL, May 1, 1910, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Florence Howarth Folkner.

Mrs. Hennig was a Cruise Director in the early 1930's for Western Electric. Additionally, she was a Practice Manager/Assistant for a Pediatrician in Flushing, NY for 25 years before moving to Florida. She then went on to work for Bayfront Medical Center, St. Petersburg, FL, until her retirement in 1984. She stayed active in many Bridge groups and also the Red Hatters.

Her husband George Hennig predeceased her in 1972.

Surviving are a niece, Penny Folkner-Bush and her husband John E. Bush III of Readington Township, NJ; two grand-niece's, Amanda Ramsey of High Bridge, NJ and Sharilyn Allatorre of Odessa, FL; a grand-nephew, Kerry John Bush of Glen Gardner, NJ; a great grand-niece, Kamryn Paige Bush; and a great grand-nephew, Luke Daniel Bush.

Funeral Arrangements will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ.
