Thelma J. Christie

Thelma J. Christie, age 70 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Monday, May 9, 2016, at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Vincennes, Indiana, July 10, 1945, daughter of the late William and Jean Brewer Evans, she had resided in Hunterdon County all her life.

A 1964 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Flemington, NJ, she was a former self-employed home health aide.

Her husband, Harold Christie, died in 2009.

Surviving are three sons, John Flowers of Flemington, NJ, Jamie Flowers of Easton PA., and Timothy Christie of Martinsville, NJ; a sister, Carol Deats of Washington, NJ; a brother, William Evans and his wife, Hartini, of Norwich, CT.; seven grandchildren and one nephew.

Memorial services will be held Friday, May 20, 2016, at 2:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ . Calling hours will be Friday, May 20, 2016, 1:30-2:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, 1100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
