Theresa Katherine Clymore

Theresa Katherine Clymore, age 92 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on August 22, 2018 in the Country Arch Care Center, Union Township, NJ.

Born March 7, 1926 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Mary (Fenning) Racioppi.

Theresa met her husband, Frank David Clymore at Olympic Park Roller Skating Rink in Irvington, NJ, and they married in 1944. Together, they raised six boys, primarily in Hazlet NJ.

She was a technician for Bell Laboratories before becoming a Hostess, first for the Holiday Inn Hotels and later, Sheraton Hotels.

Theresa enjoyed trips with her husband throughout the United States, especially to the Poconos, Florida, and North and South Dakota. She was an excellent cook, and loved watching game shows – especially ‘The Drew Carey Show,’ ‘Price is Right,’ and ‘Let’s Make a Deal.’ For many years, you could find her at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, PA every Thursday.

She was the neighbor everyone wanted to have – always willing to lend a hand or a cup of sugar if anyone ever needed. She especially loved spending time with her neighbors, Caroline and Bill, and with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Frank David Clymore, Sr.; her son, James Thomas Clymore; and her grandsons, John and Kevin Clymore.

She is survived by her five sons, Frank (Elaine) Clymore of Rockville, IN, John (Marilyn) Clymore of Union Beach, NJ, Allen (Denise) Clymore of Ellington, FL, Robert (Debra) Clymore of Keansburg, NJ and Joseph Clymore of Readington Township, NJ; her fifteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 10 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington. Interment will be private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 5 – 8 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
