Thomas A. Titus, age 69 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Saturday, March 17, 2012 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Frenchtown, NJ, February 15, 1943, son of the late Norman A. and Pauline V. Anderson Titus, he was a lifelong area resident.

A 1961 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Mr. Titus was a Bus Driver for Hunterdon Central for over twenty six years. He was member of the National Rifle Association; the John Birch Society; and the NJEA.

An avid bowler, he was a member of the US Bowling Congress.

Surviving are his wife of forty-seven years, Lyndalee Ketcham Titus; a son and daughter-in-law, Norman K. and Carlye Titus of Columbia, TN; a daughter and son-in-law, Camie Lynn and Christian Sanchez of Readington Township, NJ; four grandchildren, Liam Titus, Arriana Sanchez, Sawyer Titus and Lylah Sanchez; two brothers, Gilford N. Titus of Deerfield, VA and Dan W. Titus of Ewing Township, NJ; a sister, Fay Titus of Louisa, VA; a sister-in-law, Uadajne Ketcham of Newfield, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will take place Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private.
