Thomas F. Kinnamon, age 79 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Saturday, April 13, 2013, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Charleston, West Virginia, July 11, 1933, son of the late Lester and Anne Simmons Kinnamon, he had formerly resided in Pittsburgh, PA. for fifteen before moving to Raritan Township in 1971.
Tom was a graduate of Dartmouth College and also of the Tuck Business School at Dartmouth. He was first employed by Mellon Bank, Pittsburgh; then was Comptroller of the Hunterdon County National Bank, Flemington, NJ; and retired from Morris Savings Bank. He was a bank consultant for several years after his retirement from Morris Savings.
An avid tennis player and bridge player, he was a member and former longtime vestryman of Calvary Episcopal Church of Flemington, NJ, and was active in the Kenosis Prison Ministry. Tom was also a former President of the Hunterdon County YMCA and former President of the Flemington Tennis Club.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-six years, Christiana Huckel Kinnamon; two sons, Tim Kinnamon of Durham, NC and David Kinnamon of Quakertown, PA; two daughters Laura Kelly and her husband, John, of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Kathy Kinnamon and her husband, Michael Noack, of Flemington, NJ; a brother, Larry Kinnamon of Sunnyvale, CA.; a sister, Anne Magnuson of Elnora, NY; and two grandchildren, Samantha Kelly Branch and Matthew Kelly.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM in Calvary Episcopal Church, 44 Broad Street, Flemington, NJ.
Calling hours will be Tuesday 7:00-9:00PM at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
