Thomas F. “Tommy Z” Zimpleman, age 57 years, of Hamilton Township, NJ, died on Thursday, April 17, 2014 in Capital Health Regional Medical Center/Helene Fuld, Trenton, NJ.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, January 12, 1957, son of the late Mary Jane Zimpleman, he was a lifelong Trenton area resident.
Tommy was currently a Foreman for Tucker Construction of Hamilton Square, NJ. An avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and lover of country music, his life was really all about his family; his children and grandchildren meant the world to him and they were who he talked about most often.
His son, Matthew Zimpleman, died in 2010.
Surviving are his children, Jason Middleton of Hamilton, NJ, Thomas F. Zimpleman, Jr. and his fiancée, Kelsey Ward of Hamilton Square, NJ, Elizabeth Zimpleman and fiancé, Dawid Oleksiak of Hamilton, NJ, Jamie Shelton and fiancé, Ricky Moore of Hamilton, NJ and Justin Shelton of Trenton, NJ; six grandchildren, Gavin, Kylie, D.J., Jazmine, Jalissa and Matthew, Jr.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John Zimpleman and wife, Sharon Knapp of Jackson, FL and Tim Zimpleman and wife, Melissa Garfield of Lake Mary, FL; a sister, Barbara Zimpleman in Florida; his former wife, Lauren Grieb Zimpleman of Hamilton, NJ; his close personal friend, Lisa Shelton; and many friends.
Funeral Services will take place Friday, April 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Ewing Cemetery/Crematory Association, 78 Scotch Road, Ewing, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Everyone is asked to meet at the Chapel by 10:45 a.m. on Friday. Visitation will be Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
