THOMAS GIRTON CASE, age 71 years, died at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City early in the morning on July 21, 2006 of complications from colon cancer.
A graduate of Flemington High School, Class of 1952, he was the child of EDWIN CASE, Postmaster of Flemington from 1934 to 1960, and ELSIE AGOR CASE, who served in the early 1930’s as a music teacher in the Flemington Borough Schools.
The late Mr. Case served in the United States Navy from 1954 until 1958. Thereafter, he held positions with RCA; Merrill, Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith; and Conrail.
He is survived by his sons, THOMAS E. CASE of Norristown, PA and JAMES S. CASE of Williamsburg, VA; a grandson, JAMES S. CASE, JR., also of Williamsburg, VA; his former wife, JOAN MILLER CASE of Philadelphia, PA, and by his brother, STEPHEN H. CASE, of Bethesda, MD and New York, NY.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 2PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
