Thomas Gabovics

Thomas Gabovics, age 92 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, October 25, 2012 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Wallington, NJ, February 4, 1920, he was the son of the late Thomas and Julia Hertel Gabovics and had resided in Hunterdon County since 1928.

He was a retired electrician and an avid fisherman.

His wife, Frances, died in 2004. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Christopher Smith, of Stockton, NJ; and nieces and nephews in Wisconsin.

Visitation will begin at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ and continue until the service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
