Thomas J. McCabe, Sr., age 74 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at his residence.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, February 6, 1932, son of the late John and Helen Harrigan McCabe, he had resided in Raritan Township since 1994, having previously lived in Iselin and Fords, NJ.
He was a retired Truck Driver with Paul's Trucking, Avenel, NJ.
Mr. McCabe was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War, attaining the rank of Corporal. He was a member of American Legion Post #159, Flemington, NJ as well as a Communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ.
Surviving are his wife of sixteen years, Judith Helen Manuel McCabe; four daughters, Maureen Longo of Colts Neck, NJ, Patricia Pelose of Toms River, NJ, Catherine Bagordo of Bricktown, NJ and Florence Candido of Bricktown, NJ; two sons, Thomas J. McCabe, Jr. of New Egypt, NJ and Michael McCabe of South Brunswick, NJ; a brother, John McCabe of Iselin, NJ; a sister, Estelle O'Neil of Bayonne, NJ; and fourteen grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will follow in St. Magdalen Mausoleum, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
