Thomas Joseph Duffy

Thomas J. Duffy, age 90 years, died on Thursday, October 2, 2008, in the Town of Clinton at his home.

Born in Groveland, NY, May 9, 1918, he was the son of the late Thomas Martin and Mary Sexton Duffy, and had previously resided in Fairport, NY, and Palmyra, NY.

He was a United States Army veteran of World War II.

He retired from the industrial engineering division of Garlock, Palmyra, NY.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Katherine Cornelius Duffy, in 1987, and a daughter, Patricia Cleason, in 2001. Surviving are two daughters, Marianne Duffy of Littleton, CO, and Catherine Hazlett of Clinton, NJ; five grandchildren; a brother, and a sister.

Funeral arrangements and interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
