Thomas A. LaRowe, passed away on November 16, 2024 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township, NJ, at the age of 87. Born on July 30, 1937, Tom was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
A graduate of Flemington High School in 1955, Tom dedicated his professional life to public service, retiring as the Director of Public Works for Delaware Township, NJ.
Outside of his professional accomplishments, Tom was known for his long-time volunteer work at the Holcombe-Jimison Farmstead Museum in Lambertville, NJ. Additionally, he was a former long-time member of the Amwell Valley Fire Company in Ringoes, where he demonstrated his willingness to serve and protect his community.
Tom leaves behind his loving family, including his son and daughter-in-law, Marc and Marian LaRowe of Ringoes, NJ, daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and John Martin of Delaware Township, NJ, and daughter, Jo-Ann Littlefield of Dayton, OH; as well as six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to his family, Tom was predeceased by his parents, John H. and Alice (Ball) LaRowe, and his late wife, Joyce (Hanlon) LaRowe, who passed away in 2018; as well as his sister, Sally Swidor.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home located at 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. Interment in Harbourton Cemetery will be private at a later date.
Memorial contributions in Tom's name may be made to the Holcombe Jimison Farmstead Museum, 1605 Daniel Bray Highway, Lambertville NJ 08530.
