Thomas Lloyd Faubel, age 96 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Monday, February 12, 2007 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
He was born in New York City, NY, September 27, 1910, son of the late Phillip and Katherine Cambell Faubel. He had resided in Rarian Township for most of his life.
He was employed in the Pilot Plant at Ethicon, Bridgewater, NJ, for over thirty years, and was a builder prior to that.
He was a communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ. Mr. Faubel was known nationwide for raising champion Brahma chickens, and he was an avid Mets fan.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Ann Roth Faubel; a son, Kim T. Faubel of Raritan Township, NJ; two daughters, Lynn Ann Faubel of Raritan Township, NJ, and Holly Faubel and husband David Sprague of Belfast, ME; three grandchildren, Katrina Jackson of Upper Black Eddy, PA, Kerri Herlick and husband Blake of Saratoga Springs, NY, and Kepreece Jackson of Los Angeles, CA; and three great-grandchildren, Tucker Jameson, Ashley Jameson, and Sabrina Herlick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will follow in St. Magdalen Mausoleum, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
