Thomas M. Palumbo, age 57 years, of Forks Township, PA, died on Monday, December 18, 2006, at his residence.
Born in the Bronx, NY, October 13, 1949, he was the son of the late Michael and Helen Zelinsky Palumbo.
He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He retired from the New York City Sanitation Department as a heavy equipment supervisor. He was currently employed as a heavy equipment instructor through Hunterdon County Polytech at the Mountainview Correctional Facility, Annandale, NJ.
He was active in the South Ridge Community Church, Clinton, NJ, and the Grace Fellowship Evangelical Free Church, Holland Township, NJ, and was active in the Gideon Society.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Ann Panzarino Palumbo; three daughters; Danielle Palumbo of Glen Gardner, NJ, Suzanne Metz of Bethlehem, PA, and Rebecca Palumbo of Forks Township, PA; two brothers, William Palumbo of Cornwall, NY, and Victor Palumbo of Newburgh, NY; and two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Emily Metz.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM in the South Ridge Community Church, Clinton, NJ. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
