Thomas P. Mcglynn, Jr.

Thomas P. McGlynn, Jr., age 72 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Friday, February 21, 2020 at his home.

Born in Glen Ridge, NJ, October 9, 1947, he was the son of the late Thomas P. and Alice Mae Whittington McGlynn.

A graduate of Millburn High School, NJ and of Rio Grande University, Ohio, Thomas worked in retail sales for Capital Lighting, Greenbrook, NJ. A member of the senior bowling center in Flemington, NJ, Thomas loved to be outdoors fishing and on the beach. Thomas enjoyed playing tennis, playing soccer and cross country running. He enjoyed all kinds of art including stained glass and Christmas ornament making.

He is pre-deceased by his sister, Patricia Whittam. Surviving are his loving wife of thirty-three years, Eleanor McGlynn; one sister, Kathleen Dragon of Montville, NJ; two brothers, Dr. Fred McGlynn and his wife, Tina of Richmond, VA and John McGlynn and his wife, Sandy of Grosse Pointe, MI; brother-in-law, Charles Whittam of Maidenhead, UK and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Ed and Joan Esposito, many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 10:45 AM in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 105 Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, North Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, February, 25, 2020 form 4:00-8:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home.
