Thomas T. Taibe, age 75 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Sunday, September 26, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Jersey City, NJ, August 21, 1946, son of the late Carmen and Mary Lipka Taibe, he had formerly resided in Bayonne, NJ. A graduate of Seton Hall University, Thomas worked as a tax accountant for the IRS and later started his own accounting business. A volunteer for Make a Wish Foundation of New Jersey, Thomas was an avid softball player and New York Yankees fan. Thomas enjoyed videography and recording family and friends to document the good times they spent together. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Georgeanne Taibe, in 2000. Surviving are his two daughters, Jessica Woodman and her husband, Cole of Midvale, UT and Amanda Taibe and her fiancé, Jesse Allen, of Flemington, NJ; three grandchildren, Lily Woodman, Violet Woodman, and Cole Woodman, Jr.; and Thomas’s partner, Judi Kornhauser. Funeral services and entombment officiated by Father John Primich will be held Friday, October 1, 2021, at 11:00 AM in the St. Magdalen Mausoleum under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 5:00-8:00 PM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Thomas’s name may be made to Make a Wish Foundation of New Jersey, 1384 Perrineville Road, Monroe, NJ 08831.
