Timothy James Lesko, age 30 years, of Santa Rosa (Sonoma County), CA, died on Monday, January 10, 2011 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ surrounded by his family.
Born in Raritan Township, NJ, February 9, 1980, son of Andrew and Christine Stout Lesko of Raritan Township, NJ, he had resided in Santa Rosa since 2003, having formerly lived in Hunterdon County, NJ his entire life.
A 1998 graduate of Immaculata High School, Somerville, NJ, Timothy went on to earn his BA in Literary English from Farleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ. He moved to the Napa Valley in 2003 where he completed an internship with Ramey Wine Cellars. He was currently a Cellarmaster for Siduri Wines, Santa Rosa, CA, where he had worked since 2004. He was also the Owner and Winemaster of Silent Morning Cellars, Santa Rosa, CA.
A communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ, Timothy greatly enjoyed indoor rock climbing, snowboarding, golfing and wine tasting. He was an avid New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan and traveled around the country attending many concerts by his favorite band, Phish.
He was pre-deceased by his maternal grandparents, Walter and Phyllis Stout, his paternal grandparents, Andrew and Elizabeth Lesko and by his uncle and god-father, Patrick Wiley.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister, Kathleen Lesko of San Diego, CA; a brother, Douglas Lesko of Lambertville, NJ; his aunt and god-mother, Karen Wiley of Dillsburg, PA; two aunts and their husbands, Sharon and William Davy of Yorktown, IN and Teresa and Beau Bujar of Hamilton Township, NJ; several cousins; and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the Church on Saturday morning. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
