Tony Critelli, age 78 years, of Flemington Borough, NJ, died Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at his home.
Born in Jacksonville, NC, April 1, 1945, son of the late Charles Critelli, he had formerly resided in Ridgewood, NJ.
A United States Navy Veteran, Tony worked as a Sheriff Deputy for the Hunterdon County Sheriffs Department. Tony was a member of the Oakland Elks, American Legion of Oakland, and the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #94. He also was on the board of directors for the American Red Cross.
He is pre-deceased by his wife, Patricia Critelli, in 2016. Surviving are two daughters, Erin Kraus, her husband Jim Kraus of Flemington, NJ and Heather Lorenzi and her husband Anthony Lorenzi of Flemington, NJ; two grandchildren, Enzo Lorenzi and Cody Kraus and two stepchildren, Richard Bilancia of Union, NJ and Deena Brock of Little Silver, NJ.
Tony had a wonderful life and would want others to celebrate his life.
A visitation will be held Friday, March 15, 2024, from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. A eulogy service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ, will be held privately.
