Toshiko Radford, age 92 years, of Bridgewater Township, NJ, died Monday, November 4, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset.
Born in Tokyo, Japan, March 17, 1927, daughter of the late Jiro and Shichi Kanazawa Hiramatsu, she had formerly resided in Colonia, NJ and Branchburg, NJ.
She is pre-deceased by her four brothers, Mashisha Hiramatsu, Hisano Hiramatsu, Keizo Hiramatsu and Seiya Hiramatsu.
Toshiko put her family first and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed family vacations every year, cooking family meals/Japanese food, babysitting her grandchildren and playing games/cards. Her other favorite activities included sewing, knitting, gardening, origami, drawing/sketching, solving math puzzles, and trips to the casino.
Surviving are her husband of sixty-eight years, Gilbert Radford; four children, Gilbert T. Radford and his wife, Leslie of Alpharetta, GA, Linda Brightfield and her husband, Tom of Columbia, MD, Cynde Radford of Flemington, NJ, and Joyce Molter and her husband, Gerald of Flemington, NJ; two sisters, Yukiko Hiramatsu and Kazue Hiramatsu both of Japan; seven grandchildren, Chelsea, Dylan, Breanna, Colin, Eric, Emily, and Melissa and four great-grandchildren, DJ, Cailyn, Skyler and Ella.
Cremation services will be held privately under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
