Vera Elizabeth Ball

Vera Ball, age 86 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, in The Highlands Care One, Edison, NJ.

Born in North Branch, NJ, August 13, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Edna Rittenhouse Hoffman.

She was a retired home health aide and had worked for the Hunterdon Healthcare System for over thirty-five years. She was a member of the Flemington Baptist Church and former member of the Clark Rescue Squad Auxiliary.

Surviving are a daughter, Darlene Campana of South Plainfield, NJ; a son, Edward Carroll of Robards, KY; a brother, Clifford "Les" Hoffman of Flemington, NJ; two sisters, Kathryn Hendrickson of Monroe, NJ, and Ruth Nugent of Effort, PA; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
