Vera Perino Amerise

Vera Perino Amerise, age 78 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Saturday, March 16, 2013 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, May 20, 1934, daughter of the late Joseph and Louise DeAlfi Perino, she had resided there her entire life before she and her late husband, Arthur A. Amerise, moved to Raritan Township, NJ in 2005. He died in 2010 after fifty-three years of marriage.

Vera was formerly an executive secretary for the Bank of New York, Manhattan, NY.

A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she is survived by a son, Mark Amerise of Brooklyn, NY; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lynn Amerise and her partner John Montana of Hillsborough, NJ, and Cindy and Michael Savas of Ringoes, NJ; four grandchildren, Michael, Melissa, Carmella, and Nicole; and two sisters, Anita LoVacco of Marlboro, NJ and Arlene Perino of Freehold, NJ.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Babbino and Rita Zitelli.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Inurnment of both Arthur and Vera's cremains will follow in St. Magdalen Mausoleum, North Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
