Vern Thomas Jocelyn

Vern Thomas Jocely died on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ.

He was born in Washington, DC, January 22, 1923, son of the late Vern Vivian Jocelyn and Mignon Edmundson Jocelyn, he had resided in Alexandria, VA, most of his life until moving to Raritan Township in 2012.

He was a technical director for Channel Five Fox, Washington, DC, for forty years until retiring.

A graduate of American University, he was a US Marine Corps veteran of World War II.

His wife, Susan Jocelyn, died in 2012 and he was also pre-deceased by a son, Charles Jocelyn.

Among his survivors are three sons, Les Jocelyn of Annandale, NJ, Richard Jocelyn of Pisgah Forest, NC, and William Jocelyn of St. Cloud, FL; and several grandchildren.
