Vernon P. Kline

Vernon P. Kline, age 85 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Flemington, NJ, February 2, 1922, he was the son of the late Norman and Bertha Rowe Kline.

He was a 1941 graduate of Flemington High School, and a United States Marine Corps veteran of World War II.

He owned and operated Kline's Taxi, Princeton, NJ, for many years.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Nina L. Kline, in 1987. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Daryl and J. Craig Wood, of West Amwell Township, NJ; a son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Tina Kline, of Cooperstown, NY; and three grandchildren: Vernon T. Kline, Lindsay A. Wood, and Douglas Kline.

Funeral Arrangements will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
