Veronica Julia Gdowski, age 87 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Tuesday, November 7, 2006, in Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown, PA.
Born in Trenton, NJ, February 16, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Regina Rutkowski. She had formerly resided in Kingwood Township, NJ, Hernando Beach, Fl (1984-2001), and had resided in Flemington since 2002.
She was a retired tecnical inspector with RCA, Bridgewater, NJ.
She was a member of the Hernando County Womens Club, and was an artisit who enjoyed painting, gardening, and antiquing.
Her husband of fifty-two years, Frank Gdowski, died in 1998. She is survived by a daughter, Frances Gdowski and son-in-law Robert Shaler, of Flemington, NJ; two sons, Stanley Gdowski of Hopewell, NJ, and John Gdowski of Knoxville, MD; and five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6-8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11:30 AM in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL preceeded by a service on Monday at 10 AM in the Brewer and Sons Funeral Home, 4450 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, FL.
