Vicki J. Hrabovecky

Vicki J. Hrabovecky, age 59, passed away on April 19, 2018 in Palmetto, Florida. She was born in Somerville, New Jersey on May 6, 1958.

Vicki earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Trenton State College. Vicki was an RN for 35 years, the last 30 years with Home Health Services at Hunterdon Medical Center. She retired in 2015 and recently relocated to Florida with her husband, Robert “Bob”.

Vicki loved the beach and took many Caribbean vacations with Bob, her favorites being St. John and Aruba. Vicki was always the “fun one,” a favorite aunt, and was a beautiful person who will be missed very much.

Vicki is survived by her loving husband, Robert Hrabovecky; sisters, Dr. Beth Schrope (Ari Naim) of Tenafly, NJ, Mary Ellen Gaestel (Bob) of Matawan, NJ; brothers, Thomas Schrope of Birmingham, AL and David Schrope of New Jersey; nephews, Isaac and Jacob Naim; and brother-in-law, Joe Hrabovecky (Arlene) of Pinehurst, NC.

A memorial service officiated by the Rev. James DeVries will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 5th at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington, NJ. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1490 US Highway 9 North, Suite 301, Woodbridge, NJ 07095, would honor her memory.
