Victor A. Heisch, age 87 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at his home.
Born in Rahway, NJ, February 5, 1923, son of the late Anton and Emma Creter Heisch, he had formerly resided in Roselle, NJ and then in Mountainside, NJ before moving to the Flemington, NJ area twenty-five years ago.
Mr. Heisch was formerly employed by Watson-Stillman, Co., Roselle, NJ and then became Plant Manager for Transco Corporation, Linden, NJ, a maker of record blanks for recording studios.
A United States Navy Veteran of World War II serving with the Seabees, he was a member of the Flemington Presbyterian Church, a Past Master of Darcy Lodge # 37, F. & A.M., Flemington, NJ, a Past Grand Chaplain of the New Jersey State Lodge, a former Elder of the Roselle Presbyterian Church and was a former member of Copper Hill County Club, Raritan township, NJ.
Surviving are his wife of sixty-two years, Marion Emmons Heisch; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Andrew Toton of Philadelphia, PA; and a sister and brother-in-law, Florence and Jess Embry of Cliffwood Beach, NJ.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
