Victor H. Roman

Victor H. Roman, age 97 years, died on Monday, February 12, 2007 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in New York City, NY, June 30, 1909, he was the son of the late Victor and Theodosia Protopopov Roman. He had formerly resided in Ringoes, NJ.

A member of the Carpenter's Union in New York City, he was a floor coverer retiring in 1974.

His wife of sixty-five years, Margaret Turner Roman, died in 2003. Surviving are three daughters, Eileen Graycar of Ringoes, NJ, Patricia Schuetz of Stockton, NJ, and Lynda Goellnar of Rockwall, TX; three sons, Ronald Roman of Alexandria, VA, Gregory Roman of Stockton, NJ, and Christopher Roman of Flemington, NJ; two sisters, Tatiana Onus of New York State and Olga Manning of Key Largo, FL; thirteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in St. Raphael's Memory Garden, Englewood, FL.
