Violet May Grecco

Violet May Grecco, age 68 years, of Bethlehem Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Hampton, NJ, February 11, 1939, daughter of the late Carl and Margaret Yekel Baker, she had resided in Bethlehem Township for the past sixteen years, having previosuly lived in Cherryville, NJ and Hampton, NJ.

Mrs. Grecco attended North Hunterdon High School and later in life got her G.E.D. and then attended Nursing School. She worked in the Pediatric Department of Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ for twelve years and prior to that worked in a Nursing Home for many years. She retired in 1998 due to illness.

A member of the Flemington Baptist Church, Flemington, NJ, Mrs. Grecco also served as Vice-President of the Bethlehem Township Seniors Club. She loved to Crochet and made many afaghans for her children, grandchildren, soon to be great grandchildren and many others in and out of the family. She also loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of sixteen years, Angelo A. Grecco; three sons, Robert A. Ader of Nazareth, PA, John A. Ader of Raritan Township, NJ and Michael A. Ader of Alpha, NJ; six grandchildren, Holly M. Ader and companion Spencer, Robert Ader and wife Megan, Jeffrey Ader and wife Tracy, Michael A. Ader, Jr., Jonathan A. Ader and Peter A. Ader; a sister, Faith Stasyshyn of Hampton, NJ; four brothers, George and Peter Baker in Florida, Nicholas Baker in Virginia and Robert Baker of Hampton, NJ; nine step-children, John Grecco of Ringoes, NJ, Anthony Grecco of Stockton, NJ, Joseph Grecco in South Dakota, Kenneth and Michael Grecco in Virginia, Virginia Salas in Pennsylvania, Donna Whitely of Phillipsburg, NJ, Theresa McLeod in Georgia and Rita Beckhorn in Florida; and many step-grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by a brother, Carl Baker, and a sister, Margaret Roberts.

Funeral Services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the Flemington Baptist Church, Main Street, Flemington, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
