Virginia L. Thorsen

Virginia L. Thorsen, age 74 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at her residence.

Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, August 1, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Ethel Smith Quick.

She formerly operated her own cleaning service and also formerly operated a daycare service at her residence.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, EdRoy Thorsen who died in 1994. Surviving are two sons, Bob Thorsen of Raritan Township, NJ, Tom Thorsen of East Amwell Township, NJ; two daughters, Kim Johnson of Raritan Township, NJ, and Patty Boden, of Washington, NJ; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
