Virginia L. Vieytes, age 76 years, of Upper Black Eddy, PA., passed away, Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at her home with her family by her side.
Virginia was born in Princeton, NJ, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Eurs Durling, had formerly resided in Flemington, NJ and had resided in Upper Black Eddy for thirty-four years.
She was a 1956 graduate of Flemington High School and was an avid antiques collector. At one time, she was Raritan Township Tax Collector and had also formerly been employed by Flemington National Bank & Trust Co. and NJ Telephone Company.
Virginia is survived by her loving husband of thirty-five years, Benjamin Vieytes; three children Ann (Barraci) Langoski and her husband, Clarence, Joseph Barraci, and Elizabeth (Barraci) Pressman-Unruh and her husband, Todd, her two step-children, Deborah Vieytes and David Vieytes and his wife, Michelle; her adopted son, Dylan Vieytes; and two sisters, Audrey (Durling) Walsh and Judy (Durling) Norkevich. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Kyle Langoski and his wife, Elizabeth, Danielle Pressman and Aaron Pressman; four step-grandchildren, Alexandra Slattery, Candice Garis, Brittany Vieytes and Nikki Vieytes and one great grandchild, David Langoski.
Memorial services will be held Friday, September 19, 2014, at 12 Noon in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
